Go ahead, click the damn pictures!

Dead: First of all what are your names and what do you do in the band?
Clint: I’m Clint, I play guitar.
Pauly: I’m Pauly and I play the drums
Mike: I’m Mike, I make a bunch of noise on the bass.
Ruben: I’m Ruben and I sing.
Adam: And I’m Adam and I play guitarist.
Mike: And we are NSYNC!
Dead: OK, for those who haven’t heard The Bleeders before, how would you guys describe yourself?
Mike: Ohhhh, they always ask that one.
Ruben: It’s fucking Rock “n” Roll that’s it.
Mike: It’s Rock “n” Roll with a little twang to it.
Ruben: Well, maybe not that….well yeah I guess you could say it has a bit of  that.
Mike: It’s all about Brittany Spears!
Dead: So what bands would you say are your main influences?
Ruben: Oh man that one is way to over board.
Mike: You haven’t got enough tape for us to answer that one.
Dead: Ok then lets limit it to one each.
Pauly: Miller Genuine Draft.
Clint: How about Iggy Pop and the Stooges.
Ruben: I’m a big Stones fan myself.
Adam: Brittany Spears.
Mike: Um I don’t know…X. They pay me to say that
Dead: So tell us about the last tour you have been on.
Mike: You mean the local show madness or the San Francisco craziness?
Dead: San Francisco.
Mike: We go up there a lot. We usually play incredibly strange wrestling shows or Stinky’s peep shows at the covered wagon.. Hey Audrey we love you!
Dead: Are the people any different that say here in O.C.
Mike: Yeah, I would say that the people there are a little more revved up on live shows. Everyone down here seems to be more worried about looking right, trying to look cool and pick up that hot chick on the corner.
Dead: Yup good old Orange County.
Mike: See the people in San Francisco are more looser. They don’t care what your playing, if it rocks they are into it. And the bills there crazy there too. I meant there is some sort of linear planning to it, but you’ll see a punk band opening for a rockabilly band and a rock “n” roll band and every one is into it.
Pauly: We have played with a lot of very cool bands up there too like the Dwarves…
Mike: And the Man Scouts of America.
Ruben: Yeah they are cool, they like fire!
Pauly: We also played with NOFX there.
Mike: Yeah in a club that holds only 300 people and this was like 6 months ago.
Dead: What’s your favorite place to play here in Orange County?
Ruben: You know what, the Doll Hut has always treated us very well, it’s pretty much like home. I really like Club Mesa right now. They have really fucking cool shows and it’s just a good place!
Dead: What kind of topics you you guys like to write your lyrics about?
Adam: Sex drugs and Rock "n" Roll
Ruben: Ya know, I think we pull from a lot of different things.
Mike: A lot of them are fun and some are serious.
Ruben: I'm not real political in my writing, I give a shit about politics, the world is too fucked up of a place!
Mike: And they don't let me get started on politics because I won't shut up!
Ruben: It's mostly kinda fun music, stuff about girls and the devil, drinking and driving.
Dead: All the good things in life.
Mike: What all wholesome American kid should be talking about.
Dead: Now most people are going to see this on the web, do you guys use the web to your advantage?
Pauly: Absolutely! MP3.com
Mike: Loudenergy.com, thebleeders.com, we have been participating in that stuff for a while now. It's cool because we have sold cds is funny places like Nebraska and Sweden!
Dead: What do you guys think about the whole Napster thing?
Ruben: I think that Metallica cartoon sums it all up. Check out www.antimtv.com and see the Metallica cartoon. (click here to see it, it's fucking funny.....and so true!)
Dead: So what advise do you have for anyone out there thinking about starting up a band?
Mike: Don't quit your day job!
Ruben: No seriously, don't listen to what people say. Don't try to be a trend hopper and play what people say is going to be the next big thing because guess what, your are already going to be behind.
Mike: Just play what you want to play and keep doing it. If your lucky things will come around. that's it, just do it for yourself.
Ruben: Do what you enjoy because if you are not having fun it's not gonna be worth doing it.
Dead: What plans do The Bleeders have for the future?
Mike: More shows and more records, More shows and more records.
Dead: Is Elvis still alive and if so how fat has he gotten?
Clint: (pointing to Ruben) He's right here! Don't you recognize him?
Ruben: Oh man, Elvis is dead and buried in a pink Cadillac somewhere and is probably in hell with Hendrix!
Dead: Ok now for some Mad Libbs. Fill in the blank: Without _____ I couldn't get through the day.
Clint: My kids are very important to me, I have a 7 year old.
Mike: Music, because without it I would beat my wife or something and end up in jail, it would be very ugly,
so definitely music.
Pauly: Yeah music.
Adam: Music
Dead: Ok another one: Oh shit! Did you see the _____ on that chick!
Clint: Ass
Ruben: Did you see the personality on that chick!
Mike: Did you see that guy on that chick! Wait.......did that sound gay?
Dead: Tell us about the cds or records you have out and were we could buy them.
Mike: Well, we have a cd out on Hostage Records  as well as a 7 inch all of which are current and hopefully in a few months we will have another one out.
