Sheena is a punk rocker...so is Haydee, Jen, Linda, Billy, Jesse, Randy and many many many more! But my mom, takes up the label first. I had talk with my mom, and she told me the whole story on how I was created. Mind you, I am not talking about physical birth. More like, a birth into a reality check.

I remember coming from kindergarten and pretty much, a normal kid. But, my mom, well thats a novel in the making. From the day to day-ness of it all. I remember when she would listen to this band and many fast pacing music, Dead Kennedys, Circle Jerks, Germs, Plazmatics, and list goes on.

She would dance around, grab me and pull me to dance with her, and I wonder what she was listening to. Then, she sat me down, gave me some cookies and had me watch a movie with her in the afternoon. So, hey, she's my mom, I want to be around her, and still wanted to be a little girl, but at five years old, you were impressionable.

So the beginning of the film, she is singing along. So its kinda hip/cool rather, and she had a great smile. She hugged me and we sat watching this 90 minute movie, she sang along, laughed, did the oohs and aahs, and once it a while, she would ask me if I had liked it? Then, I started to like the music too, and soon, started to dance, and hey, it was pretty cool.

When "Rock 'n Roll High School" was over, well, I ended liking the band. SO she calls me over to the stereo and she plays the same music that was on the movie! Hey! Alright!!!, and then Punk Rock was born. I was born into Ramones-mania!

I was the only kid in school wearing the Ramones t-shirts, yeah, they were a little bit big, but, heck, these were the Ramones!!

Since then, I have a Ramones' watch, every t-shirt, album, cd and numerous memorabilia, but, my most beloved Ramones' memorabilia, is a 8 x 10 autographed photo of me and Joey Ramone, along with Rodney on the Roq. Joey's death was a surprise. Shocked the who punk rock scene. I'm sure there are alot of people who stated the Ramones were posers, or they suck, but, have anyone of you really watched the History of Rock/Punk Scene, where Johnny Rotten, (singer for the Sex Pistols, to those of you, who don't know), stated that they copied the guitar licks and practice from the Ramones' music?

I could go on and on about the Ramones, but, punk is carried on in our house, and maybe you are the one carrying it in yours. We are all unique in our own, way, purple, green, or whatever color you choose. Thanks mom, for sitting me down, serving the cookies and for knowing the best kind of music there was...Punk!!!!
