Whats up all you die hard skaters out there? For the second installment of deck check, I decided to sit down and chat with a local up-and-coming skater to see what’s happening in the underground realm of our beloved hobby/sport.
His Name is Mike Wale and he resides in beautiful Santa Ana, California with no bed, a crappy TV with out cable, two Technic turntables, a chinchilla named Simon, and whole lot a lovin. Mikes got skills that don’t yet pay the bills, but he does have a couple a sponsors that keep him clothed and happy, sometimes. He’s Skates for Styx board shop here in So Cal, as well as lifted research group (LRG) – a dope ass clothing company that will one day destroy all the pansy ass Tommy Hilfiger and Polo shit.
