"Holy
Shit" I cant say how often I was listen to this Record the last
weeks.
In
my car, at Home, everywhere...
And the best thing is that it will be better and better....
"Rock Art and the X-Ray Style" from ´99 was really cool also,
but this Record is much more better, trust me Boys and Girls,
Joe Strummer on the Solo-Way to Heaven, fuckin the coolest Shit I was
listen to the last month.. His Solo-Career goes so pretty good, he can be
proud of all he did last years, he is a great guy with lots of other good
musicians (The Mescaleros) really good work dudes. The Songs are worked
out more than perfect, soooo powerful. The Band knows how to play for him,
not just this Reggae-parts, you can here the Style from the good old
Clash, remember songs like "Sandinista". The whole Record is so
convinced, the guys have no Fear for Effects to other Styles of music. Its
the best Mix of everything I ever heard, but you can still hear Mr.Joe
Strummer out of it, No way back to the past just straight up. The best
Words came from Joe himself: "Wether its Jazz or Punk or anything
else, you have to fight against the Purists who want to narrow the
definition. That's what kills music because stifles it to death" So
True Mr.Strummer.... Thanx for giving me this good time I still have, its
the greatest to listen to the music every fuckin day.

I
think we have found the the lost member of KISS
attempting to forge his own band, MR. Brannons vocals
leave a lot to be desired.
The musical content is worth a second listen, MR.
LeMay has very strong percussion presence, which is
not very often seen.
The merging of merging of these musicians was a very
good thing, melodic, tight, and strong, but find
another singer, or get him some lessons.

One
of the few bands that sounds good slower than
we are used to , mixing gutteral vocals with heavy
, crunchy, riffs, and a very strong time keeper and hard
snare hits, makes you tap your toes
and clench your
fists at the same time.
I'm sure after 6or 7 times listening I am sure you
will begin to sing along.
Track #5 was completely unnecessary, otherwise
music you can fuck your girlfriend to. Good job guys!

Super
trendy, upward mobility, FLAW is the next
band to to take over the industrial/metal scene.
Clear vocals backed by melodic sometimes heavy,
chunky guitar riffs, the drumming is appropriate for
the style however not spectacular, something we've all
heard before.
Only one thing that is evident not only with the
music from FLAW but most bands from this genre, the
ever present drone with most selections melting into
the next and then blending into white noise with an
occasional growl and scream to wake you from a
medieval day dream .

These
guys will most certainly fit in with all the
other stink 882 bands and if they
are rejected by that
crowd, they'll have a spot with
some boy bands, RCH
has more harmonizing than the bay
city rollers????
Musically, RCH is very tight and a
good strong lead
guitar is what makes this band
cohesive.
Speaking from a vocal stand point
,we hear strong
voices, although you should have more than one range,
from what I can hear , they all
have full sustaining
voices .

Let
me ask you a question, why does a band have to
repeat the same line five hundred times? did we run
out of lyrics?
Guitars seem a little unsteady and weak, not well
honed, needs improvement, a few more lessons should
do the trick and help straiten it out .
If you are into story rock this is the c/d to get,
I was waiting for the little beep to tell me it was
time to turn the page after each verse throughout the
entire c/d it seems like they are trying to tell us a
story.
Vocally , well this is another story...... no pun
intended, the range has no scale and makes you cringe
like a scared raccoon you know right next door to the
guitar lessons place is the voice coach go and spend a
little extra on lessons for the whole band cause you
could use a little brush up, we are talking 80 degrees
to the left .

Do
we realy need any more bands that sound exactly
like LIKIN PARK, or KORN? Don't we have enough? Well
ok if you need to play that way.
Musically I recognize all the collective abilities
for instance, Mr. James has pretty much mastered the
bass guitar good dexterity and manipulation he makes
it sound like gold , kudos.
Mr. Coyle has a voice forged in purgatory, strong
melodic, and hard as nails when necessary, he came
over rather well educated in the vocal arts, if it is
not education then he is a natural, I refuse to ask
for forgiveness but I cant stomach any more fucken
rap, this is the only thing wrong with this, leave
it at home or take it back to the ghetto.
The lead guitar on this disk is phenomenal, Mr.
Lightcap exhibits full control and shows himself to be
a dominating factor in this band.
I guess you all will see these guys on "mtv" again
soon, my guess is that they will do well within this
genre, although they have all the ingredients for a
top 10 band, I hope for their sake that this rap core
shit hybrid music will be around a little longer so
they can make their share of the millions of music
industry dollars .

Folksy,
strong, expressive, and most of all
original, which is especially hard to do for a
female artist in today's musical marketplace , I cant
compare her to any other fem performer , cause she
simply doesn't sound like anyone else, uh this is a
very good thing.
Recorded in TEXAS where everything is BIG? Any way
she says she was armed with the food fix of all true
stonners , CHEETOS , yea all I can visualize is those
orange covered fingers all over the sound mixing board
and the tech giving her hell for it, dont you worry
sweetie , when you are a big star you
can do whatever
the hell you want . one other thing you notice is that
most of all the selections were recorded on a holiday
, like GROUND HOG DAY, NEW YEARS DAY, and APRIL FOOLS
DAY .
Rebecca is refreshing and new, all the tracks on
this disk are worth checking out, and from what I can
see in the small picture, she is a little hottie, a
little more cleavage and a bigger picture next time.
pick this up and you will enjoy it .

This
disk gave me some pungent gas like a punch in
my gut and now I am shitting my
pants and trying
desperately to get rid of this
fucking headache.
Way too much emphasis on religion
, come on guys,
we all hate the concept of structured
faith, but does
the term OVERKILL mean any thing
to you at all.
And further more the lead singer
sounds like RODNEY
DANGERFEILD singing the sound
track to the rocky
horror picture show.

What
we have here is the recipe for the next
underground punk icons, if we sit back and suck real
hard on the crack pipe of music these guys will lead
the take over, Ii fucken promise .
This is the band that
rancidsublimenofxsuicidaltendencies will be afraid to
follow on any stage, with the diversity that only
comes once in a lifetime and a penchant for perfection
, mix these together with a sense of social
consciousness and you will get some kick ass stuff, it
rocked me and everyone I have shown it to .
Stop the presses, quit masturbating, spit that
chicken bone out of your mouth , these guys will kick
you in the chest and make you dance like a fucken
lunatic.
L O C is truly diverse and well blended like a good
hard whiskey , super hardcore, ska, and metal make for
a very good time with these guys , get this prize
before it runs out and go see these guys live when
they come to your town I am sure it will be well worth
it .

In
the bio sent with this disc for the cut throats
, I read the definition "noise rock" in reference to
our friends Chris , Will , and Mark ,the trio that
make up The Cutthroats 9, NOISE ROCK, well again some one
has hit the the donkey right in the pucker hole and it
made its dick recede back up into his stomach , if you
enjoy not being able to understand the words of your
favorite juke selection then this shit , and I do mean
noise shit is for you , go out and get this disk and
have a shit sandwich, hell have a shit party with it
for all I care.
Mr. Spenser , on the guitars has a knack for the
hardcore , it is pretty hard and crunchy very
delicious , and easy to get into ,
his prowess
exhibited with his stringed instrument will be noticed
above the rest of the trio, for all his hard work I
can hear this guy has potential.
Mr. Carroll on the percussion , strong and steady
good fucken fills , I enjoyed listening to the beat as
it pounded through my head , it is like an explosion
on its way through a valley as the fire follows a path
destroying everything in its course, long and rolling
at times yet energetic , and trenchant.
Someone please explain to me the phenomenon where we
have such a kick ass fucken band of musicians and the
vocals are just a side thought.

Take
a ride with me into the not so distant past ,
when punk was not a fashion statement , or a word that
gets thrown around on "mtv" even before it became
noise , there was a political and social statement
even a state of mind , it was fast , hard , funny , in
your face , fuck you , and beer , so now for your
dinning and slam dancing pleasure , MIND EXPLOSION.
The eclectic and old school feeling that these guys
exude makes me want to put on my drunk and skank like
a fucken dick .
Gyrating ,pounding hard , and fast , that's how I
eat my punk rock , and who the fuck needs any milk ???
I like these guys , allot and it makes me feel good
to know that there are some bands that are still
carrying the torch of anarchy.

ball of noise , hey I got an idea
, lets play this

,er, note of this ,
and he'll beg us to kill him.
I am sorry , I said I would be
extremely honest ,
and in all honesty , this shit sucks real bad , not
regular sucks , shop vac , dual

You
know I cant really put my finger on it , but i
think i have heard this before , kinda new but very
old , does that make any
sense to you ?.
Since I am partial to vocals we will start with Mr.
Guimond , he has wonderful range with just a hint of
roughness not too much mind you , enough to make you
hang on to listen to the next verse , his voice
projection is almost perfect in many aspects it is
refreshing to hear all the words instead of only a few
.
The only other constant you will hear is Mr. Steven
Chrstofor on the electric and acoustic guitars , he
has a masterful touch and strum that will make you
listen to this over and over again , very soothing ,
like a rainy winter day staying home from work .
All the rest of the musicians on the disc are
different for most every song which is ok if you don't
care about consistency or continuity , for the most
part they do just fine .
I cant say I like this music , cause my punk head
keeps telling me its time for the click , click,
click, and then the break neck speed that follows such
a signal, but the musical quality is very good and
diverse , a full sound and a great engineer made this
disk production worth while.

First
thing that I took notice of was the bass , Mr.
Sekol's ability to manipulate his instrument is
nothing short of phenonominal, he is a true musician
and a credit to his craft.
One of my favorite tracks off of this disk is #4
"FAREWELL PRODUCTION" very well orchestrated and with
all the qualities I enjoy .
The whole disk is very well mastered with a toe
tapping cleverness , it has an overall groove to it ,
not particularly my style but it caught my ear and i
listened to it more than once , and that's hard to make
me do .
